How to Order Your Repeat Prescriptions Using the NHS App
Ordering your medication only takes a few minutes. Follow the steps below:
- Download the NHS App
Search “NHS App” on the App Store or Google Play Store, or visit the official NHS website.
- Create or Log In to Your NHS Account
You will need to prove your identity the first time you use the app. This may involve scanning a photo ID or answering security questions. Once set up, your account is secure and ready to use.
- Nominate Whitemoss Pharmacy as Your Pharmacy
Before ordering, make sure your prescriptions are sent directly to us.
In the app:
NHS App → Prescriptions → Pharmacy → Choose a pharmacy → Select Whitemoss Pharmacy
This ensures your GP sends your prescriptions electronically to our pharmacy.
- Request Your Repeat Medication
In the app, go to:
Prescriptions → Repeat prescriptions → Select the items you need → Submit
Your request is sent directly to your GP for approval.
- We Will Dispense Your Medication
Once your GP approves your request, your prescription is sent electronically to Whitemoss Pharmacy.
We will:
– Prepare your medicines
– Let you know when they are ready
– Arrange delivery if you are eligible for our delivery service
If there are any issues or delays, our team will contact you.
